Job Title: Housekeeping/Laundry Staff

Location: Sharon Care Center, 1509 Harrison Ave, Centralia, WA

Job Summary: The Housekeeping/Laundry Staff at Sharon Care Center is responsible for maintaining a clean, sanitary, and comfortable environment for residents, staff, and visitors. This role involves performing a variety of cleaning and laundry tasks to ensure the facility meets high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors.
• Empty trash and replace liners.
• Launder resident clothing, linens, and other items as needed.
• Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor.
• Assist with special cleaning projects as assigned.
• Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in good working order.
• Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous housekeeping or laundry experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy items, stand for long periods, and perform repetitive tasks.
