Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dietary Aide to join our team. As a Dietary Aide, you will play a crucial role in assisting with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment. Your attention to detail and commitment to food safety will contribute to the overall well-being of our residents.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping vegetables, preparing salads, and portioning meals
- Serve meals to residents in a timely and courteous manner
- Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies as needed
- Collaborate with the culinary team to ensure meals are prepared according to dietary guidelines
- Provide excellent customer service to residents and their families
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations
Requirements:
- Previous experience in food service or a related field is preferred
- Knowledge of culinary techniques and food production processes is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent time management skills to ensure meals are served on schedule
- Basic understanding of food safety principles and practices
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
