Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests have an unforgettable dining experience by delivering high-quality service and expertly upselling menu items.
Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly demeanor.
- Take accurate food and drink orders using Aloha POS or similar systems.
- Provide detailed menu descriptions and recommend food pairings to enhance the dining experience.
- Upsell additional items to increase overall sales while maintaining guest satisfaction.
- Serve food and beverages promptly, ensuring presentation meets fine dining standards.
- Monitor guest needs throughout their meal, addressing any requests or concerns promptly.
- Buss tables efficiently to maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area.
- Assist with food preparation as needed, ensuring adherence to culinary standards.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality of dishes.
- Maintain knowledge of menu items, including specials and seasonal offerings.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or fine dining environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with Aloha POS, OpenTable, or similar reservation systems is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests effectively.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- A passion for culinary arts and knowledge of food preparation techniques is beneficial.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by the establishment.
