Job Overview
The Facilities Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing the maintenance and operations of our facilities. This position is responsible for ensuring that all systems function efficiently and effectively, while also managing a team of skilled professionals. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership abilities and a comprehensive understanding of facility management, including electrical systems, project management, and the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Duties
- Manage and oversee the daily operations of the facility, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Maintain and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems, including logic controllers and schematics.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs to ensure optimal performance of all equipment.
- Coordinate facility projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time and within scope.
- Lead a team of maintenance staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to promote professional growth.
- Utilize CMMS for tracking maintenance activities, inventory management, and reporting on facility performance metrics.
- Collaborate with other departments to address facility-related needs and improve operational efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in facilities management or a related field.
- HOSPITAL EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage teams effectively.
- Proficiency in electrical systems maintenance, including low voltage and high voltage components.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and schematics is preferred.
- Excellent project management skills with a track record of successful project execution.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
