Duties
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Develop and deliver training programs related to environmental health and safety (EHS), first aid, CPR, and occupational health.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA regulations, and workers' compensation laws.
- Collaborate with various departments to fabricate safety protocols that align with industry best practices.
- Monitor workplace conditions and practices to ensure adherence to safety standards.
- Investigate incidents and accidents to determine root causes and recommend corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in risk management.
Requirements
- Proven experience in risk management or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of workers' compensation law and regulations.
- Familiarity with OSHA standards and EPA guidelines.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to train employees effectively.
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions regarding risk mitigation strategies.
- Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
