Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and versatile Video and Tech Support Specialist to join our team. This unique role requires a combination of video editing expertise, specifically for training videos, and technical support skills. The ideal candidate will be passionate about creating engaging training content and providing top-notch technical assistance to our clients and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

Video Editing:

• Create, edit, and produce high-quality training videos that are part of our mathematics curriculum.
• Collaborate with the instructional design and training teams to develop video concepts and storyboards.
• Ensure all training video content aligns with our brand guidelines and meets our quality standards.
• Manage and organize video assets and maintain an efficient workflow.
• Stay updated with industry trends and implement new techniques to enhance video production for training purposes.

Tech Support:

• Provide technical support to users, assisting them in accessing digital materials and integrating educational platforms with our program.
• Offer support to users via email and phone, addressing their technical issues and queries effectively.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose technical problems, offering effective solutions in a timely manner.
• Assist with user and content management, ensuring smooth access and organization of digital resources.
• Assist with the setup and maintenance of audio-visual equipment for training sessions and presentations.
• Create and update technical documentation and user guides.
• Collaborate with the IT department to ensure a seamless technology experience for all users.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your work on training videos.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of video production processes, including shooting, editing, color correction, and sound design.
• Excellent technical support skills, with experience in troubleshooting and resolving hardware and software issues.
• Familiarity with common operating systems (Windows, macOS) and office productivity software.
• Experience supporting users of educational digital platforms.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
• Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Demonstrated experience in creating professional videos, showcasing a polished and high-quality final product.
• Comprehensive knowledge of educational platforms, with a strong understanding of their integration and use in a learning environment.
• Proficiency in graphic design and motion graphics software, such as Adobe After Effects and Photoshop.
• Understanding of network configurations and basic IT infrastructure to support seamless technical operations.
• Previous experience in a customer support role, with a proven ability to provide effective solutions and support to users.
• A strong desire to learn and continuously improve skills, staying current with industry trends and advancements.
