Sharonville Cosmetic and Family Dental is looking for a motivated and efficient Front Desk coordinator who has experience with customer service/relations and great organizational skills that can become one of our original core team members in this new office. This coordinator must have experience as a dental assistant. Great communication and computer skills are required. The applicant should be able to work in an extremely fast paced environment and be very comfortable with multitasking. This position will have growth/advancement opportunities and great incentives. Dental Assisting experience is a plus and preferred, but if you have completed your dental assistant school, we offer training.
Job Title: Front desk administrator and coordinator
Reports To: Director or Regional Manager

Training: Some training will be provided for office software and Insurance handling
Pay: Hourly $15.00 - $28.00 depending on experience, Dental Knowledge, and bonuses will be provided based on scheduling and production performance. Bonuses can range from $80 to $800 a month depending on case acceptance and overall office production.
Dental Assistants who wish to be in the administrative side of Dentistry are encouraged to apply.
Status:
Full-Time (Monday through Thursday from 8:30am to 5pm. Fridays until 4pm).
Summary: Responsible for relaying incoming telephone calls, greeting visitors in a professional manner, utilizing the in-house dental software, and performing various clerical duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
1. Answering a high volume multi-line telephone system, takes accurate messages and transfers telephone calls to the appropriate person in an efficient manner. Patient intake. Proper phone etiquette.
2. Greets and screens incoming patients in a professional manner and promptly notifies appropriate person of their arrival. Update patient information in the office software. Prepares the patient charts/folders.
3. Schedule patients and remind them of their appointments.
4. Receives and signs for packages, and delivers to the appropriate person promptly.
5. Input treatments for the patients. Bill out claims to insurance companies.
6. Conduct Pre-Authorizations for certain treatments and managing them.
7. Collect and process payments
8. Operates standard office equipment including:
-multi-line telephone system
-facsimile machine
-photocopy machine
-computer/printer
9. Monitors facsimile machine, directs incoming documents and sends documents via facsimile as requested.
10. Types correspondence and memorandums in proper format, proofreads and mails as assigned.
11. Maintains an adequate office supply inventory, forms, requisitions additional items as needed.
12. Performs other related duties as assigned.
13. Quickly, accurately, and efficiently check eligibility/benefits on patients.
14. Handle money collections
15. Present treatments to patients
16. Assist Chairside from time time
17. Clean rooms after patients from time to time
18. Take FMX and Panos on patients from time to time
