SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for analysis of inventory statuses and pursues destruction processes to support strong inventory position and financial health for Sharp. Completes various functions of Data Control roles to support production requirements and client needs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for utilizing and maintaining the inventory database to identify orphan, expired and obsolete inventory at the Allentown, Macungie and Conshohocken Facilities and work with necessary Account, Project and External Supply teams for disposition support. As approved, enter into the database for further destruction needs.
Proactively review inventory statuses such as QC Hold and Expired and engage necessary groups for timely destruction approvals.
Responsible for running daily inventory reports including but not limited to ERP system information download to support business continuity.
Responsible for VEEVA Departmental Analysis tasks as related to change controls, NCRs or other QMS assignments that result in the requirement for material review and acceptance for Value Stream operations.
Serve as back up to QAD Data Control Specialist in supporting item creation, obsolescence review and change control needs.
Serve as back up to Inventory and Disposition Coordinator.
Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and general public.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral diagram, or schedule form. Attention to detail and sense of urgency.
Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite. Extremely proficient in Excel. Experience with ERP systems. Must have good written skills. Position requires strong PC skills and is primarily a computer based role.

PREFERRED / REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree from a four – year college or university; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
