SUMMARY:
Provides administrative support to various functions within the organization, simultaneously supporting and coordinating activities for the Company’s guests and visitors. This role is required to be on-site in Allentown.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following is a list of minimum responsibilities related to the Receptionist position. Other duties may also be assigned.
Perform general administrative support to various members of the leadership team and functional areas such as meeting coordination, various forms of data entry, coordination of meeting details to include transportation, meals etc.
Coordinates with the internal customer, office supply needs and coordinates such with procurement
Provides ad hoc administrative support to functional areas based upon the needs of the business at that time
Welcomes on-site visitors, confirms identification, determines nature of business, announces visitors to appropriate personnel, ensures that visitors are logged and tracked using electronic system, issues identification badge.
Answers incoming telephone calls, determines purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department.
Stocks and inventories sundries for visitor area, kitchenette, conference rooms, and applicable offices.
Receives, sorts, and routes US mail and interoffice mail to appropriate personnel.
As needed, host Customers during visit at Sharp.
Ensure gowning procedures are followed prior to entering production floor. Host customers during visit at Sharp Corporation. Escort to visitor room(s) Order lunch if required for customers/Account Executive meetings. Inform Project Team as to the status of customer.
Perform other general administrative duties in support of the Leadership team such as ordering of and set-up of business breakfasts/lunches.
Must demonstrate flexibility in approach to work and prefers work that is NOT routine and is highly interactive and service oriented.
Prior demonstration of independent thinking and decision making is highly desirable
QUALIFICATIONS:

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:

PREFERRED / REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be comfortable with learning and utilizing various software programs from a data input and management perspective
Must have some knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint
