Mission ID is a private practice located in Poway, CA and serves the Greater San Diego region for all aspects of care associated with Infectious Diseases. We provide comprehensive exams, imaging and therapeutic options for our patients and round at Palomar Health on a daily basis.
Position: Part-Time Medical Assistant to start on or around April 1, 2025
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in patient preparation and treatment procedures.
- Facilitate smooth patient flow by ensuring rooms are prepped in advance.
- Maintain records and documentation related to patient care.
- Answering phone calls.
- Rooming & taking patients’ vitals.
- Ensure proper coordination and communication with physicians throughout the treatment process.
- Maintain the cleanliness and sterility of the treatment area.
- Assist in scheduling appointments and managing patient inquiries.
- Ordering office supplies and maintaining general office standards.
Qualifications:
- Medical Assistant certification from an accredited institution.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a genuine desire to provide outstanding patient care.
- Must possess basic computer skills and ability to handle electronic health records.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a keen attention to detail.
- Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminologies and procedures.
- Bilingual, English/Spanish preferred.
Hourly Salary Range:
- $22 - $25 (based on level of experience)
