SUMMARY :
Leads the implementation for talent planning and internal development program for the skilled, semi-skilled operations functions. Coordinates with the site / shift managers and partners with Human Resources to identify and implement strategies to address current and future operational skill needs in the production environment with a primary focus on supporting internal development, retention, and external acquisition. Additional value will be created through mentoring, fostering a culture characterized by belonging, continuous learning, and positive collaboration across the network. Success in this role will be defined by the level of internal proactive talent planning, scalability of talent and retention of talent within operations, and the ability to identify, and implement training curricula that ensure future success.
This role requires a regular on-site presence and is an off-shit position splitting his / her time between second and third shifts. Infrequent local travel will also be required in order to execute the essential responsibilities of the role. Frequency of local travel will be driven by talent demands and requirements to ensure the most effective external talent partnerships.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Operations Talent Planning : Lead the planning strategy for Semiskilled functions within operations, ensuring a robust talent pipeline is available to address growth opportunities within the business.
- Partner with Operations leadership and Human Resources in aligning talent planning requirements with business strategy and execution to include identifying internal talent development needs and the selection of individuals to move into either existing or future roles.
Operations Talent Retention : Foster a relationship of connectivity for each individual in any development program. In doing so, ensuring each person in the development program or newly hired into one of the semi-skilled positions understands you are an advocate for their success.
Operations Talent Acquisition : Create and foster internal and external partnerships that support Operational Goals and the developmental requirements of the semi-skilled roles with operations.
Operations Talent Development : Lead and oversee the development of operations-based training programs related to pharmaceutical packaging, ensuring alignment with industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. Plan for the future in ensuring flexibility in talent capabilities supports ever changing client requirements.
Training Curriculum Design : Develop comprehensive training curricula for internal candidates, based on identified role, and also regulatory and safety requirements of each. Tactically manage the experience of all program participants and take the appropriate action (escalate where necessary) in improving the employee experience
Vendor Stake Holder Management : Engage with both internal and external stake holders and subject matter experts to stay abreast of role requirements and update training materials as needed.
Performance Evaluation of Contributors and Program Effectiveness : Establish and implement metrics to assess the effectiveness of training programs for each role, while continuously assessing time investment, EE contribution, content and approach strategies.

Prior experience in influencing stakeholders at various levels within an organization is required.
Must possess and demonstrate a broad business acumen appreciating the contributions of the function, relative to the larger organization to include the ability to develop and express a business case, the understanding of how to measure and articulate Return on Investment and the ability to work across functions for the betterment of the larger whole.

PREFERRED / REQUIRED EDUCATION and / or EXPERIENCE :
BS degree preferred with a minimum of 10 years operations experience performing the roles or similar roles as the In-Process Inspector (Packaging Associate II), Machine Operator and Production Room (Line) Leader.
Direct experience with and oversight of teams responsible for operating high speed automated manufacturing lines in an FDA / cGMP or similarly regulated environment required.
Must be highly driven, self-motivated, thrive under limited direction and outcomes driven.
Demonstrated prior success in the influencing of others to achieve company goals and the ability to work with others with the achieved outcome of improving talent and performance of others.
Prior experience in external talent acquisition required and creation of external talent partnerships preferred.
