? Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship on automation best practices
- Design, develop, and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Compliance as Code
- Build and maintain self-service tools to streamline operations
- Contribute to the development of self-healing, auto-diagnosing infrastructure
- Automate monitoring, metrics collection, and analysis
- Create thorough documentation for internal and external use
- Manage multiple work streams across concurrent engagements
- U.S. Citizenship required
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Tier 5 (T5) background investigation within 3 months
- Must hold or obtain Security and a Linux certification (e.g., Linux , RHSCA) within 3 months
- Expertise in Shell scripting (Bash, Korn, C)
- Advanced Python development skills
- Experience with AWS automation tools such as Boto3, AWS CLI
- Proficiency with Ansible for configuration management
- Strong Linux system administration and troubleshooting experience
- Solid understanding of AWS Cloud services
- Familiarity with high availability tools like Pacemaker
- Experience with DISA STIG compliance tools
- Understanding of NIST 800-53 or similar security frameworks
- Knowledge of Git, branching strategies, and integration with tools like Jira
- Experience with code quality and testing tools such as Pylint, Pytest, or JUnit
- Hands-on with Terraform or CloudFormation
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments
- Ability to debug complex infrastructure issues
- Proven experience in large-scale enterprise environments
- A detail-oriented, security-focused mindset
- Ability to balance multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate in a team setting
- Self-starter attitude with a passion for continuous learning and innovation
