Essential Job Responsibilities:
? Implementing and maintaining procedures to collect performance metrics and produce system performance and capacity reports
? Performs analyses (e.g., performs technical research in order to assess system performance and capacity)
? Manage and maintain 24x7 uptime on the mainframes including client related connectivity, application and platform issues
? System architecture:
? Research products, solutions, technologies, and apply results to create presentations/documentation
? Establish and implement auditing standards and present evidence to the auditors (internal and external) for CAS, PCI, FFIEC, and SOC assessments
? Applies technical expertise to support the deployment of technology architecture
? Identifying system performance bottlenecks and recommending performance improvement solutions
? Referent platform SME
? Provide mentoring and training to team
? Expert Knowledge of MCP OS, Networking and FS System Hardware
? Reviews, for accuracy, the technical content of proposals. This requires the incumbent to have a full, working knowledge of services/products/technology solutions

- Systems implementation:
- Project planning, implementation and documentation
- Lead MCP OS , Network, and other major software release planning and implementation
- Configuring, planning and managing implementation of system hardware upgrades
- Functions as the technical lead on larger projects.

- Basic Qualifications for Consideration:
- 4 year degree in relevant field or 5 years of related technical experience
- 5 years of experience on Unisys MCP systems
- Strong understanding and operational experience in a large, multi-system enterprise level Unisys environment
- Background in the following: MCP operating system environment, EMC disk subsystems, WFL, COMS, as well as knowledge of Windows, DASDL, and DTP
- Demonstrated subject matter expertise relating to Unisys:
i. MCP system software
ii. Security
iii. Networking and data communications
iv. System design and architecture
v. Performance management
