Primary Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement cloud governance frameworks and best practices to ensure compliance with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Establish and maintain cloud policies and procedures to support secure, efficient, and scalable cloud adoption.
- Define, develop, and monitor Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs) for cloud services.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align cloud strategies with business objectives and operational needs.
- Conduct periodic cloud governance reviews and assessments to ensure adherence to industry standards and best practices.
- Provide oversight and guidance on risk management, cost optimization, and compliance in cloud environments.
- Develop and manage reporting mechanisms to track SLA performance, incidents, and compliance deviations.
- Partner with IT, security, and business teams to ensure seamless cloud service integration and operations.
- Stay updated on emerging trends in cloud governance, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
- 12 - 15 years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years of experience in cloud governance, policy management, or SLA development.
- Expertise in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
- Proven experience in developing and implementing cloud governance models, policies, and frameworks.
- Strong knowledge of IT service management (ITSM), SLA management, and compliance standards.
- Excellent understanding of cloud cost management, risk assessment, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to work independently and drive initiatives with minimal supervision.
- Certifications in AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- IT governance certifications such as ITIL, COBIT, or CISM.
- Experience in cloud contract negotiation, vendor management, and financial governance.
