Position Summary
Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, the Facilities Associate will perform a variety of equipment preventative maintenance and services, building and exterior maintenance tasks that contribute to upkeep and safety of operations at BSM.

Under the supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, the Facilities Associate will perform a variety of equipment preventative maintenance and services, building and exterior maintenance tasks that contribute to upkeep and safety of operations at BSM.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Complete work orders as assigned
- Building maintenance
- Occasional painting/drywall repair
- Minor plumbing repairs and maintenance
- Minor electrical
- Lawn and grounds maintenance (mowing/shoveling/raking)
- Perform scheduled inspection of major building components
- Participate in maintenance of fire suppression systems
- Maintain regular and emergency lighting systems
- HVAC work
- Maintain main mechanical room components (inc. pumps and filters)
- Ensure optimal and continuous operation of boiler system by performing routine inspections and maintenance, monitoring metering equipment and adjusting levels as necessary
- Work with contractors/vendors
- Other duties as assigned
- Conduct all work in compliance with FDA, 21 CFR 210 and 211, other regulatory agency requirements and BSM approved procedures

- Three (3) to five (5) years (preferred) general maintenance experience and knowledge in all common aspects of building maintenance including but not limited to: HVAC Systems, fire suppression, smoke control, minor plumbing, minor electrical, painting, drywall repair, and other major building systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent (GED)
- Post-secondary Trade School/Technical Institute education preferred

- Ability to frequently lift up to 10 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
