Position Overview

As a Lawn Maintenance Crew Member, you’ll be at the forefront of crafting stunning lawns and landscapes that leave clients thrilled. You’ll use top-notch equipment, work alongside a fun and dedicated team, and make a visible impact on every property you touch. Defined Duties

Your role will focus on delivering exceptional lawn care and supporting seasonal tasks. Here are your core responsibilities:

• Lawn Mowing and Trimming: Mow lawns to precise heights and trim grass around obstacles using zero-turn mowers and weed whips to ensure a neat, uniform appearance.
• Edging Hardscapes: Edge sidewalks, driveways, and other hardscapes with edgers for a crisp, professional finish.
• Weed Control and Debris Removal: Manually remove weeds and apply weed control measures; clear leaves, litter, and debris to keep properties spotless.
• Leaf Raking and Cleanup: Rake and remove leaves seasonally to maintain tidy lawns and grounds.
• Equipment Operation and Maintenance: Safely operate blowers, hedge trimmers, and hand tools (shovels, rakes, soil knives); perform basic maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
• Snow Removal Assistance: Support snow plowing and shoveling during winter months to keep client properties safe and accessible.
• Vehicle and Gear Organization: Keep work vehicles and equipment clean, organized, and ready for daily tasks.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with crew members, communicate clearly with supervisors, and contribute to a positive, productive team environment.
• Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols to protect yourself, your team, and clients while on the job.
• Additional Tasks: Take on other assigned duties, such as assisting with minor landscaping projects, to support the team’s mission.

Requirements

We’re looking for enthusiastic, outdoor-loving individuals ready to make a difference. Here’s what makes you a great fit:

• Valid Michigan driver’s license and reliable transportation to work.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. regularly – it’s like a gym membership with a paycheck!
• Comfort using lawn care tools (mowers, blowers, rakes) or eagerness to learn.
• Commitment to delivering high-quality work, no matter the weather.
• Strong communication skills to connect with your team and supervisors.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) is a bonus but not required.
• Legal eligibility to work in Michigan.
• Landscaping experience (1-2 years) is preferred, but passion and a strong work ethic are what we value most!

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 35 per week
