Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Perform surgeries(LASIK, PRK, ICL) with precision and care.
- Provide comprehensive eye care, including pre- and post-operative consultations.
- Work closely with a team of experienced ophthalmologists and optometrists to deliver top-quality patient care.
- Engage with the community and build lasting relationships with patients.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in ophthalmology and surgical techniques.
- Executes consistent and specific medical protocol.
- Provides leadership, management and accountability for timely patient appointments.
- Represents the organization within the public, medical and business community.
- Records and maintains clinical and business data in written and/or electronic form.

Education/Experience:
- Board Certified
- Extensive experience with LASIK & ICL procedures is a must. Prior experience with Cataract & RLE procedures is a plus.

Language Ability:
Fluency of the English language. Excellent oral and written comprehension and expression. Speech clarity and recognition. Active listening. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret related medical, scientific and technical journals. Ability to respond to common inquiries and provide information to patients, vendors, colleagues and members of the business community. Good interpersonal and presentation skills.
Math Ability:
Ability to use mathematical methods or formulas for related medical and scientific measurements and calculations. Ability to calculate percentages. Ability to compile, tabulate, or verify information or data.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form. Ability to use logic. Ability to identify information by categorizing, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes.
Computer Skills:
Microsoft Office Suite, Email, Calendar and Scheduling Software, Medical Software, Internet, Data Entry
Certificates and Licenses:
Licensed to practice in Illinois State prior to beginning employment. Excellent standing with all licensure authorities.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
This position may supervise and/or assist employees relative to specific tasks or projects, but has no direct reports.
