The Opportunity:
The Production Manager (PM) is our field frontline crews' leader, ensuring job site quality and efficiency in a safety-focused environment. The Production Manager works closely with our account management team to deliver unparalleled service to our customers and their sites. The position oversees the development of monthly production planning, material procurement, and cost buying associated with this period. It is responsible for participating in the hiring and training of crew members. As a Production Manager, you'll:
- Understand client expectations and deliver through a quality assurance program for each job site
- Identify opportunities for more efficient processes to achieve gross margin targets
- Develop and maintain crew member relationships to ensure a positive and productive work environment as measured by crew member retention
- Mentor supervisors to train and develop crew members' talent and bench strength
- Schedule and review work tickets for accuracy and performance and create purchase receipts in Aspire
- Responsible for the successful onboarding of new crew members and overall crew member retention and engagement.
- Schedule and coordinate crews and job site maintenance objectives
- Perform informal and formal landscape quality audits to meet client and company standards
- Recommend enhancement and maintenance opportunities.
- Involvement in branch growth, participating in contract renewals
- Ensure profitability goals align with costs for subcontracted services, materials, equipment, projects, labor, crew member uniforms, personal protective equipment, etc.
- Responsible for hiring, coaching, counseling, performance management, assigning, and re-directing crew members' workload.
