The Nurse Managers primary duty is to ensure high quality patient care through leadership and evaluation of all clinical employees.

Responsibilities :

• Organizes employee training and motivational activities.
• Monthly education activities to meet regulatory requirements.
• Organized annual BLS and biannual ACLS training.
• Monitors SPD for compliance with standards and facility policies.
• Responsible for the direct supervision of clinical staff and quality of patient care.
• Responsible for the counseling of clinical employees with direction from ASC administrator.
• Orientation and training of clinical staff.
• Staff Vaccination tracking and NSHN reporting.
• Annual employee competencies and performance evaluation.
• Clinical staffing work schedules and daily assignments.
• Participates in QAPI activities at the direction of the ASC administrator.
• Ensures compliance with corporate policies.
• Completion of one annual quality study.
• Medication Ordering and monitoring expirations.
• Scheduling of pharmacy inspections and implementation of recommendations.
• Participates in the activities of recruiting, selection, of clinical staff.
• Provide appropriate personnel / resources to conduct facility activities.
• Plans and coordinates quarterly core / MH drills.
• Reports to the ASC administrator
