What are the responsibilities and job description for the Physical Therapy Aide position at Shasta Physical Therapy?
At Shasta Physical Therapy, we value our patients and look to give individualized care. Aides will work under supervision of a Physical Therapist and Physical Therapist Assistant. We are looking for compassionate and hard workers! Experience is not required, but is recommended. We will do on the site training.
This position will be a full time PT aide position. Hours are around MWF 8-1, 2:30-6 and TTh 8-1.
Aides will need to:
- set up patient treatment rooms/areas;
- document on intake forms;
- guide patients in exercises;
- sterilize/organize supplies and equipment;
- use teamworking skills in order to work with PT's, other aides, and patients;
- have awareness of patients' needs and physical therapist wants; and
- be personable: liase with patients' to feel welcome.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
Schedule:
- No weekends
