Job Summary:
The Registered Nurse is responsible for delivering safe patient care using the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice.
- Directs and guides patient/family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in various units, including ER, ICU, Telemetry, Ortho/Nero, and Med Surg.
- Is directly responsible and accountable for the care given to assigned patients.
- Communicates with physicians about changes in patient clinical condition, including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology.
- Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition and/or response to treatment.
Requirements:
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate.
- Current ACLS (AHA) certificate.
- Previous Acute Care hospital experience.
- MediTech EMR experience preferred.
- At least 1 year of ICU experience.
- At least 1 year of ER experience.
