Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Print Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in print production, with expertise in typography. As a Print Operator, you will be responsible for operating a Sneed Coding digital printer and ensuring the quality of printed materials meets our high standards. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing exceptional print advertising products.
Responsibilities
- Operate a digital printer.
- Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to ensure accuracy and consistency with labels.
- Troubleshooting issues as they arise.
- Manage inventory of printing supplies and materials, ensuring availability for production needs.
- Report to management when more METRC tags are needed.
- Update METRC numbers as they change throughout printing process.
- Flatten packaging bags when necessary to efficiently produce printed bags.
- Keep up on cleaning bags and maintaining an organized station.
- Catching bags at the end of the conveyor belt to properly assign the correct METRC number.
Qualifications
- Proven experience with METRC numbers is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of typography and print advertising principles.
- Familiarity with quality control processes in print production.
- Ability to operate machinery safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
