We are currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Oral Surgery Patient Care Coordinator to join our dynamic team. As a Patient Care Coordinator you will play a crucial role in ensuring a seamless and comfortable experience for our patients throughout their Oral Surgery Journey. This is a full time position that includes vacation and personal days, health insurance, and retirement benefits. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8am-4:30pm. Enjoy Fridays off with no evening or weekend hours. We are willing to train individuals new to Oral Surgery. Pay will be based on experience
Responsibilities
- 1. Patient Liaison: Serve as the primary point of contact for patients, providing empathetic and personalized assistance, effectively communicate treatment plans, answer questions and address concerns to alleviate any anxieties or uncertainties.
- 2. Appointment Scheduling
- 3. Insurance Coordination: Verify Insurance coverage and assist patients with insurance -related inquiries.
- 4. Financial Consultations: Clearly explain treatment costs and payments options. Facilitate the financial aspects of treatment, such as collecting payments and coordinating with Insurance companies.
- 5. Documentation and record keeping: Maintain detailed and organized patient records, including medical history, consent forms, and treatment plans. Adhere to all Hipaa regulations and confidentiality guidelines to protect patient privacy
- 6. Collaborative Support: Collaborate with other Medical and Dental offices to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a dental office is preferred but not required.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to provide compassionate and patient centered care
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage appointment and scheduling and administrative tasks efficiently.
- Proficient Computer skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability
- Professional demeanor, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards
