Shaw Auto Parts is a family-owned and operated recycled auto parts business serving the Pocatello area since 1919 and we are looking for a responsible and motivated individual for our Shipping/Receiving/Delivery department. We have a passion and commitment to satisfy our customers through proud, honest, hardworking employees. We are expanding and need motivated, driven individuals to join our team!

We are looking for a full-time team member. Shaw Auto Parts is open M-F, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. Will consider a remote employee with a minimum of 3 years used auto part sales experience.

To qualify, we need a person who is self-motivated, organized, a people person, able to multitask and driven to provide solutions to customers both over the phone and in person. We are looking for candidates with automotive parts knowledge, phone and sales skills and experience working within a team setting.

Job Responsibilities:

• Proactively reaching out daily to prospective customers
• Answer incoming sales calls
• Servicing counter sales
• Follow-up with pending quotes
• Maintaining and exceeding sales goals

Job Requirements:

• 2 Years of proven auto parts sales experience
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Basic computer skills – Microsoft Office (Word), Excel, online searching, etc.
• Automotive knowledge is a must
• Knowledge of eBay and Amazon platforms

Compensation: Pay will be negotiated for candidates with 5 plus years of sales experience. During the 90-Day training period, less experienced sales professionals will be started at a base rate of $20.00 to $25.00 per hour depending on experience in sales, automotive, and the used parts industry. After 90 days, you will be switched to a commission-based income with no cap on earnings.

After 90 days:

• Health insurance is available at a cost of only $100/month. Taken out of employee paychecks at $50 x 2 paychecks.

After 1 year:

• 401K is available with 6% match of employee’s contributions.
• Eligible for 40 hours vacation pay (this will be pro-rated based on full remaining months in the year to be used by the end of the calendar year) and all 40 will be received at the first and the 2nd calendar year; 3rd-5th calendar years = 80 hours vacation and 6thcalendar year and more = 120 vacation hours. * There are 7 paid holidays per year.
• Sick pay is accrued from the beginning of employment at 1.54 hours sick pay every two weeks when at least 78 hours are worked.
