We are expanding our national presence, and with the recent addition of Shaw Family Culinary, are searching for an experienced National Sales Director. The ideal candidate will have extensive food industry experience and contacts, a proven track record in finished food sales to the foodservice sector, demonstrated success managing all aspects of account management and sales development. This role is integral to our growth strategy and requires a seasoned professional who can drive sales, build strong customer relationships, and integrate into our national sales team.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • 8 years direct selling, National Account sales.
  • Proven sales track record in food industry, preferably with top accounts in Consumer-Packaged Goods (CPG), private label, co-manufacturing, foodservice.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve national sales targets.
  • Strategic thinking and business acumen : ability to develop and deliver a strategic account plan designed to achieve profitable growth.
  • Effective negotiation and problem-solving skills : ability to use appropriate strategies to address concerns, explore alternatives and reach mutually beneficial outcomes to gain commitment.
  • Impactful communicator : ability to convey information and ideas clearly and succinctly to various levels, in a variety of situations; deliver high-impact presentations suited to audience.
  • Building influential relationships : ability to build and nurture long-terms relationships with key accounts and stakeholders to deliver value.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industry and foodservice markets.
  • Collaborate with internal departments from marketing, procurement, product development and production to ensure alignment with customer needs and market demands.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
