Position Overview
Shaw Industries is seeking a Data Business Manager (Hybrid).The Samples Data Business Manager plays a crucial role in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and process improvements within the organization. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining analytics applications that integrate data from multiple sources utilizing various query, reporting, and development tools. Collaboration with cross-functional business partners within the Samples division, as well as the Brand and Marketing groups, Sales, and IT, is essential for gathering requirements and delivering user-friendly solutions tailored to data needs. The ideal candidate will effectively manage and mentor business analysts, prioritize data requests, and work independently or as part of a project team. They must balance priorities, accurately assess the feasibility of requests, and adapt flexibly to changing requirements. Demonstrating initiative in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, the candidate will lead efforts to improve processes through business intelligence and insights tools. The Samples Data Business Manager will be instrumental in fostering a data-driven culture and enhancing operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Manage all samples systems with a focus on data integration, ensuring seamless data flow.
- Lead the strategic design of Samples business intelligence applications, evaluate future requirements, and stay informed about ongoing developments.
- Employ change management, project management, and business process management practices to ensure initiatives are delivered successfully, within budget, and on schedule.
- Evaluate and recommend new technologies relevant to the samples business to enhance operational efficiency.
- Participate in the global design and implementation of new technologies for sample systems.
- Identify and recommend system improvements that align with business goals and objectives, leveraging best practices and professional experiences.
- Manage and develop a team of business intelligence analysts, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
- Oversee the generation of complex or custom sample reports summarizing business or financial data to support strategic decision-making by organizational leaders.
- Analyze business strategies through sales analysis of related product, market, or shared trends to identify opportunities.
- Communicate insights to key stakeholders and influence teams throughout the organization to act based on data driven recommendations.
Qualifications:
- 4 year degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or similar field OR 3 years of experience in Business Intelligence within a complex reporting and analytics environment
- Advanced knowledge of relational databases, SQL, query tools and analytics tools
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik View
Preferred
- Demonstrated experience managing cross-functional projects, preferably at a large-scale or enterprise level

Hybrid / Remote Worker Requirements:
- Responsible for providing a Reliable High-Speed Internet Connection to access Shaw Systems while working from home. Minimum Speed 10mbps/Download; 3mbps/Upload without data limits or restrictions.

- Must manage their schedule when required to participate in on-site meetings.
