Job Title Profiler Position Overview Position Objective: To run the Profile lines efficient and safe with the maximum amount of production and a minimal amount of off-quality. Position will also be an expert and resource for the machining line. Essential Duties: Set-up of profile and cutting equipment. Making machine/process adjustments on line and on computer. Following specific instructions on each order. Achieving set quality standards. Monitoring parameters such as speed. Visual inspections of products for defects and grading. Performing quality checks on profiled product by assembling. Operating quality measurement tools. Perform pre-profile checks. Trouble shooting quality, production, and equipment concerns. Non-Essential Duties: Must be a team player. Take an active role in committees. Must be able to read and analyze charts and graphs. Must have the ability to be cross trained for other jobs. Physical Requirements: Must be able to bend, squat, and stoop several times a day. Must be able to stand for 8 – 12 hours a day. Must be able to climb stairs several times through the day Must be able to assist in lifting up to 75 lbs. several times a day. Must be able to lift 35-50 lbs. on a regular basis throughout the day. Must be able to handle the stress of meeting goals and production requirements. Must be able to visualize defects in the product. Other Requirements: Basic reading, writing, and math ability. Must be able to operate a lift truck once trained. Must be capable of being trained on current computer systems and software.
