Job Title RollUp Operator Position Overview GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Operates roll-up machine in order to cut and roll finished carpet to specified lengths. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate roll-up machine. Cut carpet to specified/marked lengths. Remove short pieces of defective carpet from accumulation table. Work with finishing clerk and inspector on correct length and destination of rolls. Communicate correct destination of finished rolls to wrapper operator. Place installation and/or cleaning information with rolls of carpet when specified. *Assist in keeping work areas in a clean, orderly manner. *Miscellaneous duties as required. * Marginal function Work Shift 8 Hr non-rotating shift, Hrs fall to out-punch day, Observed Calendar, shift starts PM Shaw Industries is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
