Position Overview
Shaw Industries Group is seeking a visionary Supply Chain leader to drive sales success in the West region.
This role will reside in Los Angeles, CA, with an office in the main logistics hub and work closely with the local Business Unit (BU) General Manager/Divisional Vice President (DVP) to develop and execute supply chain strategies.
The ideal candidate will possess an entrepreneurial spirit, foster innovative partnerships, prioritize customer centricity, excel in supply chain management, ensure cost efficiency, and maintain an employee-centric approach.
Key Responsibilities
The Supply Chain Leader will oversee and optimize supply chain operations for the West region, focusing on strategic planning, execution, and continuous improvement to meet business objectives across all business units.
- Strategic Alignment: Develop and implement customer fulfillment strategies aligned with the company's and region's business goals.
- Conflict Resolution: Resolve service, cost, or quality conflicts across business units, escalating when necessary.
- Leadership and Collaboration: Represent the Customer Fulfillment group in GM/DVP staff meetings, owning outcomes related to inventory, logistics, RDC operations, freight, and service levels.
- Team Development: Lead regional supply chain teams, fostering innovation, collaboration, and professional growth while applying the ShawWay and Performance Experience principles.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 10 years of supply chain or business management experience, including 5 years in leadership.
- Proven ability to develop and execute effective supply chain strategies.
- Deep knowledge of supply chain principles, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution.
