JewishAkron, a large non-profit organization looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist. The Digital Marketing Specialist will be responsible for implementing and enhancing social media and email marketing strategies, creating engaging content, and fostering community engagement across the JewishAkron (and Shaw JCC as needed) digital platforms. This part-time role focuses on amplifying the organizations' visibility, increasing audience engagement, and supporting their missions through effective digital marketing.
General Responsibilities will be to stay informed about digital marketing trends and social media platform updates. Manage time effectively to balance workload between JewishAkron (80%) and Shaw JCC (20%) and attend occasional events outside regular work hours to capture content as needed

Social Media Strategy and Management
Develop, implement, and manage social media strategies aligned with the missions of JewishAkron and Shaw JCC.Analyze and report on key performance metrics to optimize social media performance.Content Creation
Create visually appealing, brand-consistent content, including graphics, videos, and written posts, for social media channels.Capture and edit photography and videography from campus events and programs to enhance storytelling.Website Updates
As needed, manage and update website content, ensuring accuracy and relevance of information.Email Marketing
Design and execute email marketing campaigns to promote events, programs, and organizational updatesCollaboration and Support
Partner with program staff to gather information and assets for content development.Requirements
Strong writing and storytelling abilities with attention to detail.Familiarity with social media platforms and analytics tools.Self-starter with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Passion for fostering community connections and advancing organizational missions.Education / Experience
