The Shaw’s/Star Market Division is looking for highly motivated individuals with the skills and abilities to successfully complete the Assistant Store Director Training Program. The purpose of this training program is to develop qualified associates to assume the Assistant Store Director position.
The program lasts for 10 weeks. Trainees’ entire 40 hours of work each week must be fully dedicated to the program; no vacations are allowed during this time to be able to complete all training requirements.
Trainees (ASDTs) are re-assigned from their home store to a training store for the duration of the program. Trainees participate in a blend of virtual classroom instruction, independent study, and on-the-job training.
Following the successful completion of the program, the trainee will be promoted to Assistant Store Director.
