Position Overview:
The BSA II serves as a frontline, customer-facing support resource for our clients, providing technical product support, troubleshooting software issues, and resolving basic customer inquiries. You will be the first line of defense in analyzing and resolving client support tickets. Additionally, as a BSA II you will be participating in analyzing requirements and implementing new features for our loan servicing software while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.
Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Provide excellent support to clients using our Spectrum Loan Servicing product.
- Address user inquiries, troubleshoot system-related issues, and conduct necessary research and testing to answer basic customer questions.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding system capabilities in a timely manner
Client Support and Analysis:
- Monitor and track client requests until resolution, determining resulting impacts.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of the business application(s) and business acumen.
- Assemble and present business process flows for internal and client use.
- Escalate material risks and issues to management that could impact client relationships.
Collaboration:
- Work effectively in a team environment with developers, testers, and designers.
- Develop strong working relationships with key business partners.
- Communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Business Process Analysis and Requirements Gathering:
- Participate in testing system enhancements and assist clients with implementing new features.
- Analyze and document basic client needs, translating them into initial business requirements.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business needs related to system behavior and processes.
Solution Development and Implementation:
- Act as a subject matter expert on specific product components with a basic understanding of business use, challenges and system configurations.
User Training:
- Train end-users on features of the Spectrum™ platform.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience supporting customers in financial services or a similar industry.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and data analysis.
- Proficiency in SQL, Excel, and other relevant tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience as a Business Systems Analyst.
- Ability to translate basic business needs into initial technical specifications.

Education/Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in financial-based disciplines or computer science, or 4 years of relevant experience.
Location
This position may work from any of the following locations: Hybrid office schedule if within 75 miles of the Houston, TX office. Remote with the ability to travel at least 5% from the following states: Texas if more than 75 miles from the office location, Virginia, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, New Jersey, Minnesota, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Utah.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This is a full-time position. Days of work are Monday through Friday. The daily schedule may vary from 7 am – 4 pm, 8 am – 5 pm or 9 am – 6 pm, and occasional afterhours or weekend work may be required. Hours may vary or exceed 40 in any given week depending on the needs of the business.
Travel
Up to 5% travel may be required.
