Position Title: Canvass Manager
Reporting Structure: Reports to the State Lead
Rate of Pay: $60,000 to $66,000 a year
Job Classification: Full time, exempt
Schedule: Full-time (40 or more hours per week, and can reach 70 hours at peak times)
Location: Onsite Albany, GA
Benefits: RFS offers all full-time employees who remain with our team for more than three months full health care, dental, and vision benefits. Any job-related travel, lodging, and other expenses are paid for by RFS.
Role Description
RFS is seeking highly motivated candidates for the role of Canvass Manager for an innovative canvassing program that will focus on turning out Democratic voters for the General Election. Canvass Managers will recruit, train, and manage a team of canvassers who will go door-to-door speaking with voters in their own communities across the state. They will work closely with the Project Director and our Operations team to meet ambitious recruitment, hiring, training, and canvassing goals.
These roles are full-time, salaried positions Canvass Managers must be true self-starters and problem-solvers, and be able to work effectively with and manage a diverse team who come from a variety of backgrounds. We will provide comprehensive job training for new hires and we strongly encourage potential applicants who have the qualified skills for the position to apply, regardless of prior campaign experience.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Collaborate with project leadership to implement an innovative door-to-door canvassing operation in your assigned state.
- Recruit, train, and manage canvassers remotely, including pre-packet briefings, virtual office hours, and post-packet debriefings.
- Work with the project’s Training Director to implement, adjust, and improve the remote training program.
- Willing and able to work extended hours, with the expectation of 6-day, 60-hour weeks from mid-January through early March, including evenings and weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with a team
- Access to a strong internet connection, reliable computer, and a cell phone
- Strong desire to help turn out Democratic voters
- Working knowledge of VoteBuilder and MiniVAN preferred
- Prior volunteer or paid canvasser management is a bonus
