Responsibilities
We're looking for a talented and experienced Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to join our growing team and lead our recruitment efforts. In this leadership role, you'll play a pivotal role in identifying, engaging and assessing the best talent to support Shawmut's success, while also guiding and developing a team of recruiters.
Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of recruiters, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
- Develop and implement recruitment strategies that align with the company's overall business goals.
- Delegate tasks and projects effectively, empowering your team to achieve their full potential.
- Provide ongoing performance feedback and help your team members develop their skills.
Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers to understand talent needs, define job requirements, and develop targeted recruitment strategies.
- Identify top candidates through various channels, including online platforms, professional networks, and employee referrals.
- Develop candidate engagement strategies to help attract and retain top talent.
- Manage the full recruitment assessment process, from screening resumes and conducting interviews to onboarding new hires.
- Manage individual requisitions as a working leader of the team.
Talent Acquisition Operations
- Analyze recruitment data and identify areas for improvement in the recruitment process (e.g., presentations-to-offer, cost-per-hire, source quality).
- Implement and maintain Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software to ensure efficient workflows.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with external recruitment agencies and partners.
- Stay up-to-date on compliance regulations and ensure all recruitment activities adhere to legal requirements.
Candidate Experience
- Foster a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to offer stage.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve candidate communication and feedback throughout the hiring process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Minimum of 10 years in talent acquisition, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of success in attracting and hiring top talent.
- Strong understanding of the full recruitment lifecycle.
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Proficient in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and other recruitment software.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong organizational skills and time management abilities.
