Job Description:
We are currently seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team in Amesbury, MA. As a PTA, you will work closely with patients to assist in providing physical therapy treatments and rehabilitation under the direction of a licensed physical therapist. This is a part-time position with flexible scheduling, requiring 20-30 hours per week. Whether you are seeking a contract or PRN position, we offer flexibility to suit your needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in implementing treatment plans developed by a licensed Physical Therapist
Educate patients on exercises, techniques, and lifestyle modifications
Track patient progress and provide feedback to the supervising physical therapist
Ensure the maintenance of treatment records and patient documentation
Maintain a clean and organized therapy space
Qualifications:
Valid Physical Therapist Assistant license in Massachusetts
Experience in outpatient or inpatient physical therapy settings preferred but not required
Strong communication skills and a passion for helping others
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
