Overview
We are seeking a dedicated License Practical Nurse or Registered Nurse to join our team in the Marketing/ Admissions department. This position plays a crucial role in assessing patients' needs and coordinating their admission process to ensure high-quality care and service.
Responsibilities
- Conduct patient assessments to determine care needs and eligibility for admission
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop individualized care plans
- Coordinate admissions process, including paperwork, insurance verification, and room assignment
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and available resources
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and quality standards
- Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and families during the admission process
Requirements
- Valid LPN/ RN license in the state of practice
- Proven experience in admissions or a related healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and patient assessment techniques
