Job Description Summary
The EOC Outreach Coordinator works with various service agencies to assess and assist disadvantaged adults in entering or re-entering post-secondary education. This is a Temporary, One (1) year Part-time position, servicing the Western half of Ohio, located in Hillsboro, Ohio.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
FUNCTIONS
1. Assists participants
- Assists participants by assessment or providing career information relating to postsecondary education
- Collects, compiles and provides reports to EOC Director and Assistant Director.
- Meets with EOC Director and Assistant Director.
- Networks with various agencies that provide services to adults.
- Represents EOC at various community events.
- Participates in in-service training.
Minimum Job Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of college admissions and financial aid process.
- Knowledge of local community.
- Ability to work with diverse groups of people.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Education, Counseling or a related field.
Working Conditiions:
Normal office environment with little exposure to excessive dust, noise, heat, and the like. Community-oriented, off-campus. Located at a local host institution.
