We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic SVP. Technology and Service to lead our technological initiatives in the security space. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in IT management, security strategy, intellectual property protection, and operational leadership. This position will facilitate near term technology solutions to a market ready position. Participate in the long-term IT strategy initiatives, facilitate technology development, ensure the security of corporate assets, and manage cross-functional teams. Reporting directly to the executive team and attending key meetings as directed, the SVP. Technology and Service will play a critical role in shaping the company’s technological future and aligning with the company’s growth strategies to remain best in class in technology in the security and technology deployment. Explore expanding business opportunities in local and international markets and advise executives Participate in business case development in areas that require investment and R and D.
Key Responsibilities:
- Intellectual Property & Legal Protection
- Oversee and execute strategies related to intellectual property, trademark, and copyright protection.
- Collaborate with legal teams to safeguard the company’s interests, including patents and proprietary technologies.
- IT Strategy & Management
- Develop and execute in near term technology initiatives that address the clients the company serves. Meet with clients to refine pain points and solutions. Oversee pilots and work with executives and business development to create market differentiators.
- Participate and engage with executes to execute long-term IT strategies that align with corporate goals.
- Lead IT management and security initiatives to protect internal systems and data.
- Plan for IT enhancements, ensuring that technology evolves to meet future needs.
- Facility & Operational Security
- Manage facility security operations, including physical and digital security frameworks.
- Oversee Cell Intel team operations, advising on technology-driven intelligence initiative
- Corporate Strategy & Business Optimization
- Contribute to corporate strategic planning, identifying opportunities by leveraging technology for increased operational efficiency and margin improvements.
- Conduct gap analysis (technology) to provide innovative solutions for business challenges.
- Technology Development & Innovation
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge technologies and systems to support operational excellence and increase client satisfaction
- Oversee procurement, deployment, and standardization of technology across the organization (including Trace Tek standardization).
- Oversee new technologies and processes to stay ahead in the industry while ensuring compliance and security.
- Vendor Management & Negotiations
- Identify vendors with the best technology to consider partnering and or acquisitions. Report these findings to executives.
- Leverage key contacts in security to explore new business opportunities in corrections and beyond
- Risk & Financial Management
- Conduct risk analysis to proactively identify and mitigate potential Technology and security threats to the organization.
- Manage IT budgets and ensure cost-effective technology investments.
- Oversee financial planning and management of technology initiatives.
- Able to show and prove success of technology introduction along with corresponding financial results and profitability
- Executive Reporting & Board Liaison
- Report directly to the executive team on the status of ongoing technology projects, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide insights and recommendations on how technology can enhance corporate strategy and long-term growth.
- Team Leadership & Coaching
- Lead the IT and Cell Intel teams, ensuring that all members are aligned with corporate goals.
- Provide coaching and development opportunities for staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
- Global Representation & Marketing Support
- Represent the company in both local and international markets.
- Assist in product demonstrations, marketing RFPs, quotes, and proposals to support business development efforts.
Qualifications
Professional Requirements:
- Cybersecurity Experience in Secure Environments.
The ideal candidate for this role must demonstrate extensive experience operating in highly secure and sensitive environments. This includes:
- Military Operations: Proven expertise in cybersecurity within military settings, including managing classified information, securing critical infrastructure, and implementing defense-grade security protocols.
- Secure Correctional Facilities: Hands-on experience safeguarding digital systems and networks in correctional institutions, ensuring data confidentiality, integrity, and compliance with strict regulatory standards.
- Client Engagement: Strong ability to engage with clients, addressing their cybersecurity needs effectively while maintaining clear and professional communication.
- 10 years of progressive experience in IT management, security, and technology strategy
- Understanding of intellectual property laws and regulations, including trademark and copyright protection is desirable.
- Experience in security, facility management, and federal space expansion is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of IT security and infrastructure.
- Strong business acumen with the ability to align technological initiatives with business goals.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proven experience in vendor negotiations and procurement processes
- Experience in federal contracting and compliance
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with the ability to conduct gap and risk analysis.

Educational:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field (required)
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or master’s degree in technology management, Cybersecurity, or Information Systems (preferred)
- Relevant industry certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), or Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)
