Cashier/Counter Server

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server/Cashier to join our team in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service and customer satisfaction, ensuring that every guest has an enjoyable dining experience. This role involves taking orders, processing payments, cutting; wrapping; and serving sandwiches, and maintaining a clean and welcoming atmosphere.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and provide excellent service throughout their dining experience.
• Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring all special requests are noted.
• Process cash and credit transactions swiftly while maintaining accuracy.
• Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces regularly.
• Assist in food handling and preparation as needed, adhering to food safety standards.
• Upsell menu items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food orders.
• Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly, providing helpful solutions.

Skills

• Strong culinary knowledge with an emphasis on food safety and handling practices.
• Experience in a quick-service food restaurant is preferred.
• Ability to perform retail math for accurate cash handling and transactions.
• Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor to engage customers effectively.
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Capability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while multitasking effectively.
• A team player who is willing to help colleagues as needed to ensure smooth operations.
