Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide excellent customer service throughout their visit.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently using a cash register.
- Handle cash transactions, ensuring correct change is given and maintaining an accurate cash drawer.
- Serve food items according to established criteria and food safety guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of the counter area, dining space, and kitchen equipment.
- Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or café environments is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Presentable demeanor and appearance, we are the first face many people see when visiting Philadelphia.
- Basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
- Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
- Ability to operate a cash register and handle transactions accurately.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
