This 127-bed, Level III Trauma Hospital offers comprehensive oncology services, including:
- Radiation therapy, chemotherapy, and medical oncology
- Cancer support services and clinical trials
- A newly designed 19-chair infusion room
- In-house pharmacy, nurse navigation, and radiation oncology
- Onsite lab services
- A highly skilled, collegial, and dedicated nurse infusion team
- Full-time position with four ten-hour shifts (No nights or weekends)
- Paid call shared equally
- Primarily outpatient care with occasional inpatient consults
- Work alongside 1 NP and 2 Oncologists in a collaborative setting
- Serve as an integral part of the patient care team, performing tasks and procedures aligned with advanced practice licensure
- Active & clear license in [State]
- Active DEA certification
- Board Certified (AOCNP)
- Minimum 2 years of experience in oncology (No new graduates)
- Proficiency in EPIC and other clinical software
- Strong clinical acumen, interpersonal skills, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work independently while maintaining collaboration with referring physicians
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing job requirements
- Organizational and time management skills
- Professional demeanor with a commitment to quality, evidence-based patient care
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, and stretching
- Quick reaction time to unexpected patient care needs
