Home Staging Assistant

Home Staging Assistant has the following responsibilities and duties:

• Start the day at our warehouse (currently located in Plain City, Ohio)
• Prep items in warehouse to be loaded into the moving truck using our product identification system
• Complete all tasks in the morning before movers arrive, so that their load up is smooth and efficient
• Manage all decor, greenery, soft goods, and art and execute load into provided van
• Confirm moving company loads all items from moving truck into property
• Confirm moving company loads all items from van into property
• Organize items coming out of truck and van into property according to predetermined stage plan
• Manage movers next task after truck is unloaded, whether that is going back to the warehouse, heading to next stage, or building furniture onsite.
• Execute the stage at the property either alone or with provided assistant
• Clean, Organize, and Maintain Warehouse
• Walk vacant properties that do not require in person consultations
• Shop/ pickup items needed for upcoming installs

Requirements:
Home Staging Assistant should have the following skills, education and experience:

• Creativity- applicant should have the skill- set to be creative with provided furniture in warehouse, to create and execute stage plans, even when product is limited, making little to no purchases.
• Style- applicant must have the ability to decorate surfaces with soft goods, linens, art, and décor as needed.
• Management Skills- applicant must be able to manage assistants, the moving team, and any other vendors during the day to day transactions.
• Adaptability- our schedule changes every single day, almost hourly. Applicant must be able to adapt to an extremely fast- paced changing role, and make decisions accordingly.
• Flexibility- once again, our schedule may change, weekly, daily, or even hourly. We are at the hand of our clients and must be willing to modify our schedule as needed to take care of our clients.
• Brand Awareness- applicant must style the homes in accordance to our branding guidelines
• Professionalism- applicant may find themselves in the presence of real estate agents, home owners, investors, contractors, or other vendors and are required to be professional at all times, regardless of who is around.
• Punctuality- applicant must arrive at the warehouse at scheduled time and keep themselves, our assistants and movers on track to keep to the staging schedule, as we very often have photography deadlines; etc.
• Work Ethic- applicant absolutely MUST have a rockstar work ethic in this extremely fast paced, ever changing position.
• Positivity- Days can be long and tiresome. Positivity is an absolute must in this role.
• Must be willing to drive a large van daily and lift and load up to 50lb totes/ soft goods/ art and decor into the van
• Must be willing to drive box truck in the event of an emergency (not likely- but must be WILLING)
• Must have a drivers license
• Must have full coverage automobile insurance
• Must have flexible availability Monday- Friday between 7a-6pm (based on the daily schedule)
• Must be willing to work weekends as needed (overtime) in the event of a pop up stage or destage
• Must be willing to cover some additional responsibilities of Owner for vacation coverage.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
