Shea Concrete, New England's premier precaster, is currently recruiting for a Retaining Wall Estimator working closely with our engineers out of our Amesbury Office. The Retaining Wall Estimator is responsible for assisting customers by providing technical solutions, generating drawings, handling customer inquiries and orders, and then facilitate orders through the production and delivery process. This is an upbeat, fast-paced, multi-tasking position that requires accuracy in meeting project deadlines.
This is not a remote position.
Duties include :
- Drafting capabilities using Bluebeam Revu and Microsoft Excel to generate submittals and production drawings (AutoCAD experience is a plus)
- Reading plans to produce takeoffs and generate estimates and orders
- Generate sales quotes and orders
- Provide accurate cost estimates for residential and commercial projects, ensuring that remain competitive while maintaining quality standards.
- Provide support during the bidding process.
- Communicate with customers regarding orders, submittals, production, and delivery
- Follow order through production to delivery in order to provide a seamless customer experience
