Pay : $22-$24 per hour
Benefiis :
New hourly full-time team members working 30 hours or more per week, will be eligible for the Company medical, dental and life insurance plans the first of the month following 60 days of full-time employment.
Full-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Time Off (“PTO”) in accordance with the Company policy at a rate of 120 hours per year.
Full-Time team members are eligible for 7 paid holidays annually.
Part-Time team members are eligible to accrue Paid Sick Leave in accordance with state guidelines.

POSITION OVERVIEW :
As a member of the Landscape Maintenance Team, the Irrigation Technician 1 position is responsible for the system components and watering schedules on landscaped areas within the community. This is a mid-level position that accepts direction from the Foreman, Irrigation Manager and Irrigation Technician 2, and Superintendents.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Responsible for the system components and watering schedules on landscaped areas within the community.
- Follow directions and perform tasks under the supervision of the Foreman, Irrigation Manager, and Superintendents. Cooperate and assist team members; contribute to the completion of daily tasks.
- Be proactive in anticipating water requirements, according to weather and plant needs.
- Work in a safe manner and use all personal protective equipment (safety gear) assigned.
- Be aware of safety requirements and report unsafe conditions or accidents to supervisor.
- Communicate daily with supervisors to report challenges about work tasks, concerns about the landscape, or maintenance suggestions to improve efficiency.
- Collect water meter readings and maintain a log of readings.
- Identify and correct irrigation performance problems, monitor equipment to ensure it is in working order and promptly communicate repair needs to a supervisor.
- Maintain up-to-date as-built documents, maps, and databases.
- Perform daily vehicle refueling and reloading of materials and vehicle inspection as directed by supervisor.
- Accurately complete all daily and weekly work logs and repair reports.
- Conduct end-of-day review and prepare next days’ tasks with supervisor.
- May occasionally be requested to work overtime or during the weekend to assist during special events when extra labor is required (i.e. weddings, tours, openings, etc.).
- Other duties and responsibilities may be assigned.
