**Job Summary:**
As a Yard Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and organizing the company's yard area. This includes performing regular inspections, cleaning, and upkeep of the yard to ensure a safe and efficient working environment. Salary Range: $18.00 - $21.00
ESSENTIAL Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain grass areas, keep trash picked up, keeping grounds always looking neat and orderly
- Maintaining the placement of machines in the correct area for Service and Sales department
- Wash machines daily
- Weekly machine maintenance, thorough complete check to include, starting each machine and recording hours
- Receiving all incoming machines and attachments
- Provide the Service Manager and Service Coordinator/Writer with the information you have gathered
- Pictures must be taken of all items leaving and coming into our yard
- If machine or attachment is damaged upon arrival, note on movement ticket, take pictures of damage and notify Service Manager/Service Coordinator/Writer
- Areas swept
- Oil pans drained
- Trash cans emptied

Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Ability to operate basic yard equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers and power washers
- Good communication skills
- Good, safe work habits
- Good working knowledge of equipment operations and mechanical functions
- Organizational Skills
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
- Self-Motivated

Physical Demands and Working Conditions:
- Heavy work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and /or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
- Climbing, balancing, stopping, kneeling, crouching, pulling and are frequently required.
- Talking, hearing, and seeing with close visual acuity are frequently required.
- Crawling, pushing and fingering are seldom required.
- The worker is subject to environmental conditions. Protection from weather conditions but not necessarily from temperature changes.
