Job Title : Quality Control Specialist
Location : Lithia Springs, GA
Duration : 6-9 months
Type : 1099 Contractor
Compensation :
Hourly Rate : $50-$56 / hr
Per Diem : $125 / day
Pay : Weekly
Schedule :
Hours : 40-50 hours per week
Monday-Friday | 8-10 hour days
Some weekends as needed
Project Scope :
New construction of a data center with a focus on QA / QC oversight for concrete , rebar , and formwork .
Qualifications :
5 years of QA / QC experience in concrete and construction.
Extensive knowledge of concrete placement, curing, rebar installation, and formwork .
Relevant certifications such as ACI, CQA, CQE, or CQC (ACI experience highly preferred).
OSHA 30 certification (preferred but not required).
Strong proficiency in QA / QC documentation and reporting tools .
A tech-savvy mindset with the ability to adapt to QA / QC software.
Principal Duties & Responsibilities :
Oversee and inspect all concrete work , including placement, curing, and rebar, ensuring compliance with ACI standards and project specifications.
Verify materials, concrete mix designs, and testing results to meet quality benchmarks.
Conduct inspections of formwork and rebar installations to ensure structural integrity.
Maintain accurate QA / QC documentation, including test results and corrective actions.
Collaborate with project teams to resolve any concrete-related quality issues.
Provide on-site guidance and training on proper concrete handling, placement, and curing techniques.
Perform other QA / QC tasks as required to ensure overall project quality.
Skills & Knowledge :
Candidates must possess strong attention to detail, particularly in concrete QA / QC and inspection processes . Proficiency in QA / QC software and excellent communication skills are essential. Additionally, an in-depth understanding of ACI standards , rebar installation , and formwork best practices is required.
