Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $50 - $55/HR
- Per Diem: $125 per day (7 days per week)
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule:
50 - 60 hours a week | Monday - Friday (7 AM - 5 PM) | 10 - 12 hour days, some weekends
Project Scope:
This role involves the commissioning of equipment to be used on-site, with responsibilities including the following:
- Permitting | Morning paperwork | JSA's | Monitoring and reporting on hazards relevant to work being done onsite
- Heavy administrative work, including detailed safety documentation and reporting
Qualifications:
- 5 years of construction safety experience
- OSHA 500 or OSHA 501 certification
- Proven experience in documentation, reporting, and permitting
- Must be comfortable with heavy administrative tasks, including report preparation and record-keeping
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations
- Provide safety training as needed
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required within the manager's skills and certifications
- Prepare detailed safety reports and maintain accurate records of inspections, permits, and incident investigations
Skills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience is a plus
- Confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information
Knowledge:
Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction, with the ability to communicate these effectively.
