Job Type: 1099 Contract
Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $52-$58/hr (Straight Time)
• Daily Per Diem: NO PER DIEM
• Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule:

• Monday-Friday, 40-hour weeks

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead project safety audits and inspections to identify and address hazards.
• Develop and deliver comprehensive safety training for all employees and subcontractors.
• Monitor compliance with OSHA standards, company policies, and data center safety protocols.
• Collaborate with electrical contractors to enforce safety measures during high-risk activities, including electrical systems installation and confined space entry.
• Manage and maintain safety documentation, including logs, reports, and correspondence with contractors.
• Conduct incident investigations, recommend corrective actions, and ensure follow-up.
• Develop and implement site-specific job hazard analyses (JHAs) and safety plans.
• Act as the primary point of contact for all EHS-related matters on-site.

Project Scope:
This data center construction project focuses on electrical systems installation and integration. The Safety Manager will oversee safety compliance and risk mitigation for high-risk tasks, including electrical work, confined space entry, and heavy equipment operation. This fast-paced environment demands strong leadership and expertise in safety management

Qualifications:

• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in construction safety, with direct experience in data center projects.
• Certifications: OSHA 510
• MUST have Workers Comp coverage or be willing to acquire prior to start.

• Familiarity with NFPA 70E or other electrical safety standards.
• Proven ability to create and implement safety plans and job hazard analyses (JHAs).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel).
• Strong communication and public speaking skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• OSHA outreach training experience is a plus.

Knowledge Requirements:

• Extensive understanding of OSHA regulations, industry EHS standards, and electrical safety protocols.
• Proven track record in managing safety on fast-paced, high-risk construction projects.
