Job Details:

Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $48/hr
- Per Diem: $115/day if over 50 miles from Cookeville, TN
- Completion Bonus: $150/month
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule:
- Work Days: 10 days on, 4 days off schedule
- Shift: First shift, Monday-Friday: 6:30-4:30 50hrs/wk
Project Scope:
Oversee the safety of a contractor doing Structural steel, decking, staircases, and welding. Responsibilities include:
- JSAs
- Site Walks
- Audits
- Safety enforcement
Qualifications:
- Experience: 5 years in construction safety management with Structural steel experience

Certifications:
- OSHA 30 (required)
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct project safety inspections and employee orientations.
- Provide safety training as needed.
- Monitor worksite employees and enforce safety practices.
- Review and manage safety-related documentation and contractor correspondence.
- Perform additional EHS-related tasks as required.
Skills & Knowledge:
Skills:
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience (a plus)
- Professionalism and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of EHS and industry regulatory standards in construction
- Effective communication of EHS principles
