Compensation:
- Hourly Rate: $50 - $55/hr
- Per Diem: No Per Diem
- Pay: Weekly
Schedule:
- 50 - 58 hours per week | Monday - Friday: 10-hour shifts | Saturday: 8-hour shift | Start Time: 7:00 AM
Project Scope:
This project involves the construction of a high-profile data center, requiring the coordination of multiple trades in a fast-paced environment. With a heavy electrical presence, strict safety oversight is essential to ensure compliance with OSHA standards, NFPA 70E, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures. The Safety Manager will be responsible for maintaining a proactive safety culture, mitigating electrical hazards, and enforcing site-wide safety protocols across all disciplines.
Qualifications:
Required Experience:
- 8 years in construction safety, with at least 5 years specializing in electrical safety
- Experience overseeing large-scale industrial or data center projects
- Strong knowledge of OSHA 1926, NFPA 70E, and Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures
Certifications (Required & Preferred):

- OSHA 500
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening

- BCSP certification (CHST, ASP, STS-C, CSP)
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with OSHA and NFPA 70E regulations
- Oversee lockout/tagout procedures, electrical hazard mitigation, and arc flash safety protocols
- Lead site safety meetings, toolbox talks, and employee training sessions
- Enforce job site safety protocols and conduct incident investigations
- Maintain and review safety documentation, contractor compliance, and reporting
- Work closely with site supervisors to mitigate risks and ensure a safe working environment
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of EHS regulations, electrical safety, and industrial construction
- Excellent public speaking and communication abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- OSHA outreach training experience is a plus
